We are so excited to bring to you our first collaborative MAIA well co. and Clarissa Lenherr Nutrition retreat in Ibiza this October 2019 (10th - 14th).
Join us on this blissful five-day escape and give yourself the opportunity to unwind, unplug and take some time for YOU.
During this unique, intimate and exclusive retreat, you will be looked after by movement expert Zoe-Maia, Nutritionist Clarissa Lenherr and your very own private chef.
The team have crafted a nurturing schedule of daily practices, nutritional workshops and Ibizian island adventures alongside delicious nutritionist-approved plant-based meals and blissful body treatments, to offer you a truly memorable and transformational experience. All of this set against the stunning backdrop of Ibiza and enjoyed from your own private Balearic-chic villa.
We will be offering a mindfully created combination of movement practices throughout your stay.
You can expect sunrise and sunset Pilates classes led by Zoe-Maia, designed to mobilise, lengthen and tone the entire body with particular emphasis on developing your core strength, promoting improved posture, alignment and body awareness. You will have the opportunity to try out our bespoke MAIA well co. dynamic workout too, which is going to be brought exclusively to this retreat. A dynamic fusion of interval training, stretching and strengthening excises, designed and refined to work your entire body whilst invigorating your mind and body. We will also have a wonderful guest yoga teacher on board who will lead you through a restorative yoga flow at sunset, to wind down from your day and promote restful sleep throughout the retreat.
All practices are suitable for all levels and modifications will be provided.
Our four pillars of good health include movement, relaxation, food and sleep. With our nutritionist Clarissa Lenherr, you will learn tips and techniques on how to optimise your diet, maximise your sleep and help support your relaxation. Clarissa will provide everyone on retreat with a personal nutrition consultation to investigate your concerns and provide actionable, long term, personalised advice.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in a gut health seminar and sleep workshop throughout the weekend, where Clarissa will equip you with the knowledge and advice on how to optimise both of these areas of your health.
All of the food on retreat has been designed by Clarissa Lenherr with your health in mind, ensuring that each meal is nutritionally balanced, wholesome and delicious.
Zoe-Maia is a qualified Holistic Health Coach and Balanced Body Pilates instructor. She began to study Pilates after years of falling in love with the practice and learning first hand of its significant benefits to both the mind and body, following years of burn-out during her previous career in the corporate world.
Zoe’s classes are designed with both physical and mental wellbeing in mind, using conscious dynamic exercises which focus upon developing core strength, lengthening and toning all muscles to promote improved posture, balance and alignment, whilst using conscious breath-work to facilitate movement and improve flexibility.
Clarissa Lenherr is a registered Nutritional Therapist and founder of Clarissa Lenherr Nutrition, a nutrition consultancy where she uses her extensive knowledge and experience to advise on all aspects of nutrition. Clarissa practices from a clinic in Marylebone, London, offering clients one to one nutrition consultations, corporate seminars and health brand consultancy.
Clarissa is passionate about re-educating, myth-busting and removing stigmas and preconceptions that have developed around nutrition and health, so that individuals can discover and celebrate nutritious food, enabling them to utilise and benefit from nutrition and lifestyle choices in order to reach their optimum state of wellbeing. She practices personalised and preventative nutrition, advocating the “not one size fits all” approach.
